DJ Niques was born in Fresno, California in 1978, then moved to San Diego about a year later. He started DJing in 1994 and got into making beats in 1995, evolving into more of a producer for the love of the music; still DJing throughout the years and even producing for world famous skratching pheonomenon/innovator, DJ Qbert, on his Do It Yourself DVD Volumes 1 & 2 as well as 4 beats on his, "famous for it's ultra funky beats" Needle Thrashers Alpha record. Niques is currently working with mc "Blest" on their "Self Sounds" project TBA, as well as selling his beats and working with other artists.
